Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
A2E serves people who are often shut out — including people with disabilities, people using older or borrowed devices, people on slow connections, and people using a phone as their only computer. A tool that only works for some of them is not doing its job.
We are committed to making apprenticeship2entrepreneurship.com and our online tools conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to meeting the standards referenced by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (36 C.F.R. Part 1194).
Conformance status
Current status: partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
"Partially conformant" means most of the site meets the standard, and some parts do not yet. We are stating this plainly rather than claiming full conformance, because a procurement officer, a VR counselor, or a person using a screen reader deserves an accurate answer.
Target date for full Level AA conformance: December 31, 2026.
Our current work:
| Area | Status |
|---|---|
| Semantic HTML structure and landmarks | In place |
| Skip-to-content links | In place on all pages |
| Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators | In place; under review on interactive components |
| Text alternatives for images | In place; under review on decorative and complex images |
| Color contrast to 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components | Under remediation |
| Responsive layout and text resize to 200% without loss of content | In place |
prefers-reduced-motion support |
In place |
| Form labels, instructions, and error identification | In place; error messaging under review |
| Embedded third-party tools | Under review — see Known limitations |
| Downloadable PDFs (tagged, reading order, alt text) | Under remediation |
| Video captions and transcripts | Applies as video content is published |
Known limitations
We would rather tell you than let you find out:
- Embedded third-party tools. The Capital Readiness Coach and any embedded scheduling tool are built on third-party platforms. We are auditing them against WCAG 2.1 AA and working with those providers. Until that work is complete, every function available in those tools is also available by phone at (832) 333-8488.
- Downloadable documents. Some PDFs are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will send you the same content in an accessible format at no cost.
- Spanish-language content. Spanish pages are in development. Language support and language attributes will be implemented as those pages publish.
Accessibility features
- Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. A skip link at the top of each page jumps past navigation to the main content.
- Screen reader compatibility. Semantic headings in logical order, landmark regions, descriptive link text, labeled form fields, and ARIA only where native HTML is not sufficient. Tested against NVDA and VoiceOver.
- Contrast and text. We work to 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface components. Text resizes to 200% without loss of content or function. We do not use color alone to convey meaning.
- Motion. Animation respects
prefers-reduced-motion. Nothing auto-plays with sound, and nothing flashes more than three times per second. - Forms. Every field has a visible, persistent label. Errors are identified in text, described in plain language, and announced to assistive technology. No time limits on form completion.
- Structure. One
<h1>per page, headings in order, meaningful page titles, and a declared page language.
Assessment approach
We evaluate accessibility through:
- Automated testing on every deploy (axe-core and Lighthouse)
- Manual keyboard-only testing of every page and interactive component
- Screen reader testing with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- Contrast verification against the published design tokens
- Feedback from users, which we treat as the most reliable signal we have
Our last full manual review was completed July 25, 2026. We review on every significant release and no less than twice a year.
For schools, workforce boards, and VR agencies
We understand accessibility is a procurement requirement, not a preference.
- An Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) based on the VPAT 2.5 format is available on request at info@a2e.llc. We will respond within 5 business days.
- We will state our conformance status accurately in any solicitation response, including known limitations.
- We accept accessibility requirements as contract terms and will document remediation commitments with dates.
- Where a participant needs an accommodation to complete A2E programming, we provide it, and we document it for your records.
Tell us about a barrier
If you hit something that does not work for you, tell us. You do not need to explain why, describe your disability, or use any particular words.
Email: info@a2e.llc — put "Accessibility" in the subject line Phone: (832) 333-8488
What happens next:
- We acknowledge within 2 business days
- We give you a plan and a timeline within 10 business days
- In the meantime, we give you another way to get what you needed — by phone, by email, or in person with a guide. You will not be left waiting on a fix to get help.
If the answer we give you is not good enough, say so and ask for it to be escalated. We will route it to program leadership and respond in writing.
Formal complaints
If you believe you have been denied access on the basis of disability, you may contact us at the address above. You also have the right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, or with the federal or state agency that funds the program you are participating in. We will not retaliate against anyone who raises an accessibility concern or files a complaint.
